Our service will prepare you Uncontested Divorce through completion. Other document preparation services will only draft the documents for you, leaving you with the somewhat arduous task of locating your spouse, having them served and filing these documents in court. We will complete all of the necessary papers, have an attorney review them for accuracy, have you sign (and notarize) the pleadings, locate and serve your spouse* and submit the final papers to court for final Judgment of Divorce. Once you provide all of the pertinent information and the court fees, we do the rest.

The forms we complete include the Summons & Complaint, Affidavit of Plaintiff, Affidavit of Defendant, Sworn Statement of Removal of Barriers, Affidavit of Service**, Child Support Worksheet***, SCU Information Sheet***, Qualified Medical Child Support***, UCS***, Note of Issue, Findings of Fact, Judgment of Divorce, Notice of Settlement, NYC Case Registry Filing and Notice of Entry.

The process can take from three (3) to six (6) months, depending on the timeliness of your submission of all information and the amount of time it takes to have your spouse served. The final documents are submitted to the court for the Judge’s signature, each court has its own time period within which an Uncontested Divorce is reviewed and finalized.

*We will only attempt to locate your spouse with the information you provide. A thorough investigation to locate him/her will require additional fees and may take longer.
